Special Programs and Grants

In addition to our collaboration with Pace University, we are pleased to partner with other organizations to expand the access to resources to our students. See below for information:

Abrons Art Center

The Abrons Art Center, an important Lower East Side cultural institution, partners with PACE High School to offer free arts workshops and classes at PACE after school. Offerings include digital music production and studio art instruction. Additionally, our students are able to participate in Abrons Art Center’s summer and weekend programs on their campus on Grand Street.

Chinatown YMCA Beacon Program

The Chinatown YMCA has served the greater Chinatown community since the 1970’s. We are fortunate to be in the same building as their Beacon program, which offers free after-school programming to our students, including language classes, summer internship opportunities, and athletics programs.

Liberty Partnership Program at Pace University’s School of Education

The Liberty Partnership Program is a New York State funded program that provides extra supports and programming to our students to help best prepare them for college success. The Liberty Partnership Program offers tutoring, study sessions, college advisement, college trips and tours, summer programs, and cultural experiences for our students. The Liberty Partnership Program has a full-time Site Coordinator who has an office and center at PACE High School available to all of our students.

Lincoln Center Open Stages Program

Our Drama Classes participate in the Lincoln Center Theater Open Stages program. Each semester, visiting theatre artists teach workshops to our Drama students, who enjoy seeing a free Lincoln Center production each semester, including Talkbacks with cast and crew after each show. Past productions our students have seen and experienced are The King and ISouth PacificThe Oldest BoyMacbeth, and The Royale.
